Dirk struggled against his bindings, unsure where exactly he was. His eyes were fogged over, and his limbs were strapped against a clean, white table. A figure moved above him.
"Quiet, prisoner," a feminine voice whispered. "You will be well soon."
Dirk stopped straining. A needle pricked his skin, and he winced. That was bad. He couldn't show emotion. He knew what would happen if he was taken.
The bindings were undone as his vision cleared. He was in a medic bay, easily recognizable because of the white walls and polished surfaces, so clean they hurt his head to look at.
A firm hand gripped the back of his neck. "I will guide you," the same voice whispered.
He was ushered up steps until he faced a tall woman in a large, white room with red chairs. A massive Latino man sat at the far end, looking into a viewfinder on the dashboard. He did not move as Dirk entered.
The woman straightened to her full height, towering over Dirk. "Now, it is time for your interrogation."
Alexandria twisted her arm in a strange fashion and used her added leverage to twist the stubborn bolt off. It had become corroded and was partially fused to the reactor's door. She had tried to cut it off, but she needed the wrench to finish the job.
With grease-stained overalls and a hefty wrench slung over her shoulder, Alexandria was not a beauty - except for her face. With slightly unruly blonde hair swept over her shoulder and a light smudge on her upper cheekbone, she was enough to capture the attention of any man working aboard the Interplanetary Transportation #539 service.
Alexandria Evans was the Ship Mechanic of the Odysseus II, one of the ships in the local solar system's transport service. They operated out of a base on Earth's Moon, which was found to be suitable for their purposes. This particular ship's main purpose was to transport palladium, silver and other rare metals, so it needed to be armed and fully operational. That was where Alexandria and Sergio came in: Sergio to defend from pirates, and Alexandria to keep it in working condition. She kept it fully operational and above-the-top.
