Pinch has been written for the I Love Writing Club for the month of January with the prompt Plastic Surgery. Why not check out some of the other Writing Club stories?

A forewarning that I hold nothing against plastic surgery. The opinions of a character are not always those of the author, remember. Okay.

Nip, tuck, change,
Take the skin and rearrange
What's the point in being fine?
It's what you need to be divine

Lift, stretch, take back,
Let me give you what you lack
Uncomfortable behind your skin?
Don't let that body wear you thin

Pin, define, eradicate,
Come to me and don't you wait
Been here before, what's the price?
Does your beauty not yet suffice?

No more wrinkles, no more lines,
No more be kept under confines
What do you say, enough's enough?
Take no heed, just one more tuck

And now you say you're old and frail?
Did beauty fade and plastic fail?
Was it worth the needle's bite?
Or is this one final goodnight?
