A poem about the distinction between good and evil

What is the good in good?
And bad in evil?
Why is evil shunned
and never prevails?
What makes a hero
from a villian?

The line is blurred
not clear cut
Why should the hero win
and the villian fail?
Can the villian not have
morals or
goodness at heart?

If the hero were to turn twisted
they would have
a reason and recieve sympathy
But a villian to see goodness?
They would have a motive
a sick reason
recieve no love

Is that right?

Is the difference between
the light
and the dark
that much?

Without one can you have the other?
