I woke up with a start. It couldn't be the day. Not now, not ever. I jumped out of bed, put on my clothes and ran downstairs. My mom had made bacon and eggs for breakfast. I smelt the air. Hmm, it smelled delicious. But I was NOT in the mood. I'm a young, teenage fourteen year old, and today was my first day of high school. My mom said goodbye, kissed me and ran out the room to assist Claudia, my baby sister. I sighed. " Mom isn't even stressing, but I'm having a fit," I thought." Mind you it is my first day of a brand new school, Hightown High school, and It's a High School. Nothing to be afraid of." I sighed as I ran to Blair, my BFF. "Whatsupp, Abigail, you don't look yourself. If it's about high school, don't be stressed, It's just a new stage of life." She said, cheering me up. "Yeah life," I replied."More stressful, scary school work that's harder than Hartendale Primary. I just wish it weren't so scary."
We headed for the gates. 'Here we go, Blair, a "new stage of life!"
